Dot Peen And Scribing Controller Firmware
All our dot peen and scribing systems are controlled using an embedded controller which executes firmware developed by Pryor. All controllers produced by Pryor since 2001 have the capability to be upgraded by downloading the firmware from a PC.

The controller firmware is constantly evolving to meet market needs and customer requirements. This page shows the controllers we currently support. Click the relevant controller to see a selection of firmware features now available on each controller.

  LCD MarkMate Controller Firmware  
 

LCD MarkMate Features:

  • Easy to use menu driven user interface
  • On screen mark preview
  • Trial Run / Jog feature to see mark position on the part itself
  • Straight, Angled, Arc/Radial Text Marking
  • Auto text compression for marking in tight spaces
  • Fonts include high speed 5x7 & 7x9, continuous line varidot and OCR fonts.
  • Auto counting features for serial number marking.
  • Various time and date marking formats
  • Store up to 600 marking files
  • Variable data entry screens
  • Load marking files and insert data to be marked via RS232 communications
  • Scan barcode data for marking using RS232 barcode scanner
  • Create, Edit and Save logos using the built in logo generator
  • Download vector logos (HPGL files) from a PC
  • Printer features for printing to RS232 barcode label printers

  • HPGL logo marking.
  • Circumferential Marking.
  • Serial Output mode. Allows programmable data to be transmitted using the RS232 port during marking. Can be used to control RS232 Barcode printers.
  • Automatic Label Feed control.
  • Serial Number reset. Programmable to reset on events such as hour, day, week, month, year and shift change.
  • Advanced Shift coding. Ability to separate a day in to several time slots, such as shifts, and mark programmable information during each slot.
